CHIPTOLE- Let's make this the first and last rally in NYC. Sign the Fair Food Agreement with the Coalition of Immokalee Workers today! For six years, Chipotle has refused to come to the table with farmworkers to sign a Fair Food Agreement, securing labor protections for workers in the fields of Florida. A farmworker led organization, the Coalition of Immokalee Workers, has secured agreements with 10 major corporations- from McDonalds to Whole Foods. Chipotle has built it’s 1163 stores and $2.27 billion revenue on it’s image of serving “Food with Integrity.” They claim to focus on ensuring the products they use “are grown, made and shipped without exploiting people.” Yet, they refuse to sign with the Coalition of Immokalee Workers. Ya han pasado ya 6 años y Chipotle se niega a negociar con los trabajadores agrícolas y firmar el acuerdo de Comida Justa, que logra protecciones para los trabajadores en los campos de Florida. La Coalición de los trabajadores de Imokalee es una organización dirigida por trabajadores de la agricultura que ha logrado acuerdos con corporaciones como McDonalds y Whole Foods. Chipotle tiene 1163 restaurantes y ganancias de 2.27 billones y vende la imagen falsa de que sirven "Alimentos con Integridad". Dicen que se aseguran de que los productos que usan son :"sembrados, preparados y transportados, sin explotar a la gente".
